Feel The Excitement

Giannis was born in a small village in Northern Greece and lived there until adulthood. In 2007 he moved to the city of Thessaloniki and there he began to have more and meaningful contact with the bicycle as an urban cyclist. In 2012, he decided to make his first cycling trip to the island of Crete and the island of Kythira with destination the beautiful city of Monemvasia.
In the same year, in October 2012, he starts his first cycling trip outside the country’s borders and cycles over 2000 km solo from Thessaloniki to the city of London. The following year, 2013, he cycles from Istanbul to Thessaloniki. The following year in 2014, he set a bigger goal and cycled from his birthplace in Northern Greece to the city of Porto in Portugal and back, cycling 7374km in 55 days crossing 9 countries.
In 2015 comes the longest cycling trip he has done so far. He cycles 70 days 8000 km and crosses 16 countries. This trip started from Thessaloniki to St.Petersburg, Russia and back again. In 2018 he took part in the international ultra marathon race, Transcontinental cycling 4040 km in 18 days and 16 hours from Belgium to Kalambaka with a finish in the beautiful Meteora! In 2021 he is cycling together with his girlfriend, starting from the island of Corfu, then Lefkada and Kefalonia cycling 700km in 22 days where they visited 15 wineries. Giannis is also a graduate in oenology and viticulture and loves to tour beautiful vineyards around the world on his bike!
